Join us for this fun, family friendly Halloween themed event at The Great Pumpkin 5K, Kids Fun Run and Walking event. Participants can come dressed in their favorite costumes as they go through our trail and spot The Great Pumpkins along the way! Our 5K race is open to participants ages 4 and up. Kids Fun Run ages 4-12 years old and open to all age groups for Walkers.
Cost of the 5K Race and Walk for ages 4-12 will be $15 per person and ages 13 and up will be $25 per person before September 30, 2022. Children ages 4 and under can attend the event for free.
All runners will have their race times recorded and photographed with the option of purchasing their finisher photos. All winners will be announced at the conclusion of the race and including, the overall 5K male and female finisher of the race. Late registration fee of $5 will be assessed after September 30, 2022.

Event special notes-
- Strollers are welcome and participants can listen to music while running or walking during The Great Pumpkin event. There are no pets allowed during the run or walk however, pets are allowed to attend the event and cheer for our participants.
- The Kids 1-Mile Fun Run and 1-Mile Walk will take place around the paved trailway.
- Pre-registration, registration table, and snack table will be located outside of Caughman Road Park. Restrooms will be available inside of Caughman Road Park facility.
- The 5K Course and Walk will be marked with directional signage with mile markers throughout the course. Parts of the course are paved and trails around our facility. Start and Finish Line will be at the same location.
Awards: (Overall Awards are based on Gun Time)
Finisher Medals will be awarded by the following age groups:
- Top 3 Males and Females from each age category will receive either a Finisher medal (for first time medal holders) and/or a race charm for 5K Run Awards
- Overall Top Male and Female Finisher will receive a prize

All participants will sign a waiver adhering to RCRC's COVID-19 safety guidelines and pre-cautions of social distancing and wearing masks. 5K runners will be going out in different heats, 30-60 seconds apart to reduce clustering and individuals grouping together during the run.
